I finished my education in the United Kingdom where I completed A-Levels (1995), a BA(Hons) in French and Dutch Studies (Hull 1999), Masters in European Studies specializing in Dutch Literary Modernism (Hull 2002), and the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting in Dutch/English Law (IoLET 2005).

I became a Registered Public Service Interpreter (RPSI) in 2005, and have worked exclusively as a freelance interpreter and translator in my career.

My professional experience is long, vast and diverse, with legal interpreting and conference interpreting as my enduring favourite specialisms.

If you would like to view my curriculum vitae, I would be happy to send it to you. Just drop me a line.

These are my clogs, from my early childhood. They date back to when my family first moved to the Netherlands. I was 4.

I grew up bilingually in the Netherlands, learning Dutch along with the Dutch kids, and speaking English at home
